There have been scenes of commiseration and celebration after Germany failed to make it past the first stage of the World Cup for the first time since 1938.

Their Group F rivals Sweden and Mexico go through to the next round instead after Germany lost 2-0 to South Korea.

  1. I don't think it was just the group F nations that celebrated but most of the world too. In England, many of us celebrated Germany's exit too and it would probably be safe to assume that Brazilian, French and Portuguese fans + many more also celebrated Germany's exit.

  2. I’m very sorry for all German fans at the moment. Their team has been rubbish since the end of the qualifiers. England have had their bad spells before but this is quite something. Germany have been on an awful run, winning just 2 of their last 9 including defeats to Austria,Brazil and now South Korea. For me Joachim Löw has got to go. There’s no way he can stand and carry on after the year they’ve had so far! My message to Germans: you’ll bounce back! Don’t turn on your team as it’s the worst you can do,the fightback starts here

  3. Many nation celebrates the defeat of Germany. That's how big the country's reputation is then it maybe sports or Wars, it takes many nations to defeat the ultimate. Lots of 💗💗💗💗💗 from Poland.
